Chinese wealthy favor travel, luxury brands

China's wealthy entrepreneurs favor travel, swimming and luxury foreign brand names, according to a study released Wednesday that quizzed nearly 600 business people on their personal preferences.

Nearly a third of the 589 people responding to the survey said their number one pastime was travel, followed by swimming, at 22 percent, and golf, 12 percent, according to the Hurun Report, a company that specializes in collecting information about China's moneyed classes.
